Studying at the Faculty of Law
Welcome to the study programme website of the Faculty of Law. Here you will find all information about our courses, contact to the academic advisory service and the examination office, as well as information about studying abroad.
To our great regret, the Bachelor’s degree programme 'Law in Context – Law in the international context of technology, politics and economy‘ and the Master's degree programme 'Business Law - Business Enterprises between Freedom and Governmental Regulation' will be discontinued. Due to this, three lecturers have been transferred to the Faculty of Law of the University of Leipzig for the winter semester 2017/18. Another lecturer has been transferred to the faculty in Leipzig for the winter semester 2018/2019. Despite all due efforts to maintain the highest possible quality of studies, restrictions in teaching and in examination processes may occur. Labour and tax law will be particularly affected. Capacity for research seminars and Master's theses may be restricted as well.

Core Areas of Study
The Faculty of Law, thanks to its practice-oriented and inter-disciplinary Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes, is providing in-depth legal knowledge and allows for specialisation in commercial law, environmental and technology law, intellectual property law, and international law.
