Study Program of the Institute

The Institute offers the English-language Master's program "International Studies in Intellectual Property Law" and contributes to the Bachelor's program "Geistes-, Kultur- und Sozialwissenschaften" of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science, to the Master's program "Digital Humanities" as well as the Bachelor's and Master's program "International Relations" of the Center for International Studies (ZIS). In addition, there are courses for students of other disciplines, e.g. in environmental law and in constitutional law within the master's program "Politics and Constitution".

Examination Office

The Examination Office is your contact, if you want to enter or withdraw from an examination, for any questions regarding the recognition of periods of study or of examination results, the compilation of grade overviews, of certificates and of assessments. Please note the up-to-date advice on the office hours of the Examination Office.

Studying abroad / Erasmus

Within the framework of the ERASMUS-program, the Institute is connected to 30 partner universities. In total, it comprises more than 70 study places, which are supported by scholarships. Moreover, the ERASMUS office is offering advice and information regarding internships abroad within the course of legal study.

Core Areas of Study

The practice-oriented and interdisciplinary Bachelor's and Master's degree programs not only impart sound legal skills, but also allow for professional specialization in the areas of business law, environmental and technology law, intellectual property law and international law.
