For more information about the series during the summer semester, please see our flyer.
In this format, Prof. Dr. Dagmar Ellerbrock (Chair of Modern and Contemporary History, TU Dresden) and Prof. Dr. Heiner Fangerau (Chair of History, Theory, and Ethics of Medicine, HHU Düsseldorf) will jointly welcome a historian who has made a name for themselves with their ideas, approaches, and interpretations. Just as the “Blue Sofa” is to the literary world, the Dresden-Düsseldorf Conversations aim to become for the field of history.
We ask our guests: Why and how did they come to history? Drawing
their personal biographies and scholarly contributions, we discuss the social significance of history and historical scholarship.
