- Summer semester 2025: Communication under state control: the political prisoners of the GDR and their relatives (Natalie Riedel, state examination thesis)
- WS 2025/26: Effect and potential of memorial site visits: An empirical study using the example of the Bautzner Straße memorial (Anne-Marie Wolf, state examination thesis)
Current research projects
- 2024: Crime in the eyes of the political police. The "Special Commission" of Line IX of BV Dresden 1969-1989, project part 1, exhibition with interim results on 19.11.2024. The project was funded by the StSG from the funds of the Saxon State Parliament.
- 2025: Winner of the 29th History Competition of the Federal President on the topic "This far and no further! Borders in history" with the project "Pirna in the Cold War. Searching for traces on the border between war and peace" (tutor for class 11 of the Evangelical School Center Pirna).
