ABOUT US

The Institute of Art and Music is divided into the professorships for Visual studies and art history, Christian Art of Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages, Art History, Early Modern and Modern Art History, Theory of Artistic Design and Art Psychology as well as the Junior Professorship in Empirical Musicology. 

The cooperation between the various subjects and the networking with art and cultural institutions from theory and practice already illustrate our interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary profile.

The existing facilities at the Institute offer space for research, teaching and study.
