Announcement: New Master’s Program in “Art History and Visual Cultures” (starting in the Winter-Spring semester 2026/2027)

The new master’s program focuses on theories, concepts, perspectives, methodologies, and issues in art history. The program includes a field trip to view artworks in situ as well as transcultural perspectives on art and visual cultures in a global context. It covers technical and digital visual cultures, exhibition and collection practices, and architectural history, as well as professional practice, foreign languages, and topics in Protestant and Catholic theology, history, philosophy, political science, and sociology.
