About us
The Chair of Didactics of Philosophy and of Ethics is one of the largest in Germany in terms of student numbers. Not only can the entire range of teacher training courses in ethics/philosophy be studied here - from elementary school to vocational and other general school types to grammar school - but the Institute also looks back on decades of tradition and experience in teacher training.
In addition to the Chair holder, the Chair also has 2 members of staff.
- In addition to the extensive subject-didactic library, you can benefit from the broad-based subject-didactic research and the many cooperations.
- The majority of the students supervised by the Chair are studying to become teachers and are being prepared for the teaching profession. Other professional fields for philosophers include ethics committees, management and journalism.
