Graduation Ceremony 2024 - Eckberg castle, Dresden
One of the special events of our master programme is certainly our graduation ceremony traditionally held each year at Eckberg castle, which just took place on April 12, 2024. We are happy that so many international graduates were able to come back to Dresden and bring along their families to receive their well-earned certificates from Prof. Anne Lauber-Rönsberg and JProf. Katharina Kaesling accompanied by much applause. The event was rounded off with a short contribution by Dr. Claudia Schlüter (Chancellor Palucca University of Dance Dresden), who gave interesting insights on "copyright on the dancefloor". Michał Jerzy Różycki spoke to the guests as one of the best graduates of the year and Johannes Gilch from the Alumni Association presented an award to the best graduates of the year, Helena Barth and Michał Jerzy Różycki - congratulations! The ceremony ended with a pleasant get-together and even sunshine in front of the beautiful scenery of the river Elbe and Dresden. We wish all graduates all the best!
Moot Court 2023 - German Track
Moot Court 2023: Heads were spinning, negotiation tactics were at the top of the agenda and arguments were exchanged. Participants in the German course of our LL.M. programme argued passionately about the marketing of a system through which murals and graffiti can be animated using projectors and thus "brought to life". Trademark and corporate law were at the forefront of this year's out-of-court hearing, which ended with a settlement. The moot court took place last Monday at the Dresden Higher Regional Court. The parties were significantly supported and accompanied in the run-up and during the event itself by Dr Daniel Schöneich and Manuela Pokern from the law firm Battke Grünberg. Former Judge Prof. Götting, Judge Dr. Marx and Judge Dr. Baer also participated.

Dresden/Prague Seminar 2022
On June 23rd, 2022, our Dresden/Prague seminar on the topic of “Legal protection of Fashion and Functional Clothing” took place. After two online seminars in the past semesters we were very happy to welcome our colleagues from Charles University Prague and also colleagues from our partner university Queen Mary University London on-site in Dresden.
Cheers! At the end of the summer semester 2021, we swapped the virtual classroom for a beer garden meeting in presence for one evening. Despite the vagaries of Covid-19 and online teaching this semester, some of our students still found their way to Dresden. Reason enough to get to know them not only digitally via GoToMeeting or ZOOM, but also analogue.
