Franziska Koop worked as a research assistant with the Chair of International Law, European Law and Public Law. Her main field of activity was the conceptualization and implementation of the summer school „Human Rights in Times of Crisis“, in cooperation with the Centre for International Studies at TU Dresden. She studied the Master's degree in International Relations at the TU Dresden and at the same time the Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Leipzig. Furthermore, she holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science form the Universität Leipzig and Roskilde University, from which she graduated with a thesis on nationality in the age of migration. Additionally, she was a member of the project "Soziale Integration ohne Eliten?" ("Social Integration without Elites?"), which was funded by the German Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.
Among others, her research interests lie in in the fields of shifting in norms due to digitalization, the responsibility of corporations for human rights violations and perspectives of legal theory on the constitutionalization of public international law.
