Maximilian D. Seidler is a research assistant at the Chair of International Law, European Law and Public Law at Technische Universität Dresden.

He studied African Studies and Political Science at the University of Leipzig. He is currently a Master's student in International Relations at the Centre for International Studies at TU Dresden (with a focus on International Politics and International Law). 

His research interests include international humanitarian law, international human rights law, the law of international organisations and peace operations of the United Nations and African Union.
