Research colloquium
What is the colloquium
The colloquium offers students, doctoral candidates and other interested parties the opportunity to present their current research projects, receive feedback and discuss methodological and theoretical issues. Regardless of whether you are currently writing your thesis or "only" a simple seminar paper, you are cordially invited to attend. They are also welcome to attend if they need support with methodological issues when preparing their thesis.
In addition, the colloquium also offers a platform for new and familiar methodological content. For this purpose, impulse lectures on topics from current research (for example on topic modeling according to LDA) are organized for interested parties. These can be viewed via the schedule on OPAL.
When is the colloquium
The colloquium is once a week during the lecture period. In the summer semester 2026 it will take place on Wednesday 11:10 (3rd DS).
