Research Interests
Johannes Haaf is a research associate at the Chair of Legal and Constitutional Studies. His research interests include the study of political rationalities, radical democracy and the formation of the social, the paradoxes of a politics of rights and theories of sovereignty. His dissertation project analyses the practical contours of a politics of human rights under the regulative conditions of processes of transnational legal codification.

Studies of Political Science with a special emphasis on Political Theory and Philosophy at the Universities of Freiburg, Copenhagen, Toronto and Frankfurt; teaching assistant at the Institute for Public Law at the Goethe University Frankfurt; student research assistant at the Cluster of Excellence “The Formation of Normative Orders” as well as the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt; research associate at the Chair of Legal and Constitutional Studies (since 2016).
