Fellow Alexandra Lorch in conversation with artists as part of the S+T+ARTS Ec(h)o Final Workshop
On 20 January 2026, the final workshop of the S+T+ARTS Ec(h)o Residency Programme took place, at which ten international artists in residence presented their projects at the interface of artificial intelligence, ecology, immersive environments, social technologies and hybrid perception. Alexandra Lorch (Schaufler Kolleg@TU Dresden) participated in the sessions as an external expert. The focus was particularly on the question of how artistic interventions in data-based systems can enable new forms of perception, action and responsibility – and what legal framework conditions are necessary for this.
Before, she had already exchanged views with guest artist Johanna Bruckner, who was visiting Dresden as part of the S+T+ARTS programme, on the legal framework for data processing in AI systems.
