Registration now open: Final Conference "AI as factor and consequence of societal and cultural change", 2023/09/28-30
The final conference of the first funding phase of Schaufler Lab@TU Dresden addressed the impact of the latest technological developments in the field of AI on the humanities and social sciences as well as on the arts, referring to the first guiding theme. Not only the research of the first funding phase of the Lab was presented and summarized, but also the way of scientific and artistic work and the formation of perspectives on the object of investigation was put to the test.
The conference aimed in particular at actors conducting research at the interfaces of society, art and technology. All fellows and resident artists of the first funding phase participated in the conference.
The three-day conference was attended by approximately 130 guests - including from the University of Bern, Bard College London, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, the University of Konstanz, Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, Burg Giebichenstein Halle, Trier University of Applied Sciences, and Folkwang University of the Arts Essen.
