The Schaufler Lab@TU Dresden is a cooperation between THE SCHAUFLER FOUNDATION and TUD Dresden University of Technology. In addition to financial support, there is also close cooperation in terms of content: joint projects of the Artists in Residence such as exhibitions, workshops and symposia will be conducted together with and in the museum SCHAUWERK Sindelfingen, which is funded by THE SCHAUFLER FOUNDATION.
In the Schaufler Lab@TU Dresden, researchers from various disciplines in the humanities and social sciences cooperate with artists as well as with researchers from the STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). During the first funding period of the project, the following institutions from TUD's Clusters of Excellence were substantially involved:
The Center for Tactile Internet with Human-in-the-Loop (CeTI), and the Scads.AI - Center for Scalable Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.
Moreover the Lab cooperates with many other institutions from the fields of science and culture.
