Chapter "Who Owns The Means of Disruption? The Recent Upsurge of the Manifesto" in America and Ownership
A publication by Carsten Junker has appeared in the anthology America and Ownership: Territory, Bondage, Jubilee, edited by Gesa Mackenthun and Nikita Vasyltsov as volume 326 of the American Studies Monograph Serie (click here to visit the publisher's site). The chapter is based on papers presented at the 69th annual conference of the German Association for American Studies (DGfA), held in Rostock in June 2023 under the same title (click here to view the program). The chapter titled "Who Owns The Means of Disruption? The Recent Upsurge of the Manifesto" reads the Manifesto as a form within which questions of ownership are negotiated, tied to the position taken in the texts in discourses on (political) authority and potential disruption.
