PhD Conference in Gothenburg
As part of the EUTOPIA Connected Community “Narrativizing Mental Health and Care: Transnational and Transdisciplinary Methods, Theories, and Perspectives,” the PhD conference “Methodologies of Researching Mental Health and Care” took place at the Department of Social Work at the University of Gothenburg from February 11 to 12, 2025, as an international exchange platform for young researchers. In Gothenburg, Can Aydın (“Representing the Unspeakable: (Historical) Trauma in Terese Mailhot's Heart Berries”) and Laura Handl (“Narrative Systems as Formalist Methodology”) from the Chair of American Studies with a Focus on Diversity Studies and Nisan Karaca and Judith Neder from the Chair of British Cultural Studies presented their projects. In this context, the EUTOPIA Early Career Peer Mentoring Network was also founded.
