Student Assistant Jula Eberth accepted for Environmental Humanities MA Program at LMU| We are proud of this success and wish Jula all the best!
Our student assistant, Jula Eberth, will be leaving TU Dresden in October 2024 to pursue the renowned Master's program in Environment & Society at the Rachel Carson Center of LMU Munich. Jula has been employed as a student assistant at the Junior Professorship since the summer of 2023. During this time, she has made significant contributions to the coordination and success of several major academic conferences (SFRA/GfF, stsing) and gained her own conference experience by giving a presentation at the GKS Junior Scholars Forum. Through this work, Jula has already begun to develop her own research profile at the intersection of Environmental Humanities, Art History, and Critical Indigenous Studies. The Junior Professorship team says goodbye to Jula Eberth and thanks Jula for the outstanding contributions and engagement. We wish Jula all the best and great success in Munich, and we are very proud of her achievements.
Jula Eberth testimonial:
"Next week, I will be starting the graduate program Environment & Society at the Rachel Carson Center at LMU Munich. I am immensely excited to have the opportunity to study Environmental Humanities, meet other scholars from diverse fields, and immerse myself in the many concepts and theories that focus on our relationship with our environment(s). I am especially looking forward to gaining interdisciplinary theoretical as well as practical input and meeting inspiring people who share my interest in the field. I am certain that working at the Chair for North American Literature Studies with a Focus on Future Studies initially sparked my passion for Environmental Humanities, for which I am extremely grateful, and I am already looking forward to crossing paths with all the amazing people I’ve met here again and again."
