About the events

You can register for all events here via our OPAL course, which you can access with your ZIH log-in. If there is nothing to register for, you do not have to register for the event and can simply drop by!

Timetable construction tutorial:

We were also first-year students once and know how difficult it is to design your own timetable. What offers many freedoms, possibilities and advantages also harbors risks in terms of comprehensibility.

In the timetable tutorials, we not only show you how to organize your studies and have a relaxed timetable. We'll also show you how to access Wi-Fi and which tools are necessary to survive at TU Dresden. It's worth it!

Campus tour:

The TU Dresden campus is really big. To shed some light on it and show you where to go, we'll take you on a tour of the campus. We'll show you the best canteens, important buildings and cool places.

Neustadt tour:

Neustadt is probably the most popular district for us students. Bars and clubs as far as the eye can see - you're guaranteed not to stay dry here! On our Neustadt tour, we'll show you the coolest bars, late-night bars, clubs and corners.

Freshers' brunch:

Nothing beats a good solid hangover breakfast after your Neustadt tour. And even if you weren't there in Neustadt - breakfast is always good. We provide all the delicacies so that we can have a relaxed start to Friday together.

Come by for a chat and breakfast together.

Get your first bag:

We, already your favorite FSR, pack a few bags filled with lots of goodies for our first-year students every year! They are free of course, but also limited! Get one while stocks last ;)

Game night:

Want to get to know your future fellow students over a relaxed game of Jenga or Twister? Then come to our games evening, which we are organizing together with the FSR Phil and PIG! We'll provide snacks and drinks as well as various games. If you like, you are also welcome to bring your favorite game. :)

Studiclubtour:

Good drinks at a low price and lots of fun - that's what the 13 student-organized clubs in Dresden promise. Some clubs also support us with vouchers for a free drink in the first-year student bags.

Where you can find us:

The best place to find us is in our office (room 001) in the faculty building at Wiener Straße 48, but we are also represented on social media, all links can be found on our link tree. Don't be afraid to contact us, send us an email or come to our public meetings. We are your voice at the university.
