Poetry and science slam as a means of acquiring educational language.
Literariness is ubiquitous; and is therefore also effective in linguistic situations where one might not initially assume it, for example in the context of educational language, when (writing) or (orally) formulating texts in so-called general scientific language in the sense of Konrad Ehlich. In the lecture, Nils Bernstein will show which characteristics are typical for texts in poetry slam and science slam contexts. Two examples will be used to discuss the extent to which literariness is effective in these texts; and the extent to which writing (science and poetry) slam texts is helpful in the acquisition of educational language.
