22.09. - 06.10.2025 Entry of hardship cases in the Saxon internship portal. Hardship cases please contact the internship coordination of the ZLSB directly with proof as a hardship case (e.g. birth certificate) and the indication of at least 2 to 3 school requests (visible in the portal under "Offer of block internship places")

14.10. - 26.10.2025 Opening of the portal for students: Submission of internship requests. Please read "Procedure and frequently asked questions for block internships" in the internship portal in advance, important questions about the allocation of places etc. are answered here.

22.10. - 26.10.2025 Display of the calculated chances for a place from approx. 8 a.m.; note color legend . Follow-up by students possible
30.10.2025 Notification of the students for the internship place by approx. 12:00 noon by e-mail

03.11. (from 12 noon) - 13.11.2025 Confirmation / return of the assigned internship places. Mandatory, otherwise assigned places fall into the remaining place exchange.

03.11. (from 12 noon) - 23.11.2025 Opening of the remaining places exchange. Remaining places or places not confirmed by students can be booked here.

From 01.12.2025 Download the internship documents directly in the student account: Principal's letter, legal information, brief description, approval

01.12. - 09.01.2026 Contact with the assigned internship school. Handover of the confirmation email and the principal's letter

01.12.2025 - 16.01.2026 Upload of the approvals for the internship place in the portal possible. In case of later contact with the school: Submission of the approval to the Academic Affairs Office Teaching by 30.01.2026

23.02. - 20.03.2026 official internship period in the schools. Any deviating times must be agreed with the schools.

IMPORTANT: . Students should not contact schools that are already listed in the portal on their own initiative! These schools have already made places available in the internship portal, which are allocated exclusively via the portal. . Which schools are already represented in the portal can be checked under the button "Offer of block internship places" (without filtering by subject!). . Students who wish to complete their internship at schools run by independent providers that are not listed in the portal or at schools outside the Free State of Saxony can still register for their subject/department in the portal WITHOUT submitting any requests. . Please contact the internship coordinator at the ZLSB by 23.11.2025 with an informal confirmation from the school. You will then receive approval for this school. Please note: Once a portal school has been confirmed, it is no longer possible to register a school outside the portal! . Please refer to the relevant websites or notices of your subject didactics for information on the introductory events for the block internships.
