The Institute for German Studies and Media Cultures focuses on language, literature and cultural studies from a historical, contemporary and didactic perspective.

Study programs

At TU Dresden, you can study German Studies in different ways: Within the Bachelor's degree program or the Master's degree program with a major/minor combination. Furthermore, German Studies is also offered in the teacher training courses.
