For what purpose will personal data be processed?
The personal data provided will be processed exclusively for the preparation, realization and follow-up of the event and, if applicable, for documentation purposes as well as for public relations activities. These are due in particular to the settlement of accounts with the funding body.

What is the legal basis for the processing of personal data?
Participation in the event is entirely voluntary. If you decide to participate, your personal data will be processed pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e) GDPR (performance of a task) in conjunction with § 5 para. 2 no. 11 and no. 12 SächsHSFG (duties of universities) and § 3 SächDSDG (permissibility of processing personal data) as well as Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR (legitimate interest / public relations).
Which personal data will be processed?
The data processed includes last name, first name, email address, affiliation to the group of employees or students, incl. assignment to the Schools and structural units.
How long is personal data processed/stored and will it be published?
Personal data will be deleted after 12 months, unless there are legal reasons to the contrary.
Personal data is not transferred to third parties. A list of participants will be created for internal purposes only and will not be made available to the participants of the event.
Which are the general rights of data subjects?
To exercise the rights, a notification in text form (letter or e-mail) to the responsible person is sufficient.
You have the right to obtain at any time information on the data processed relating to your person and the possible recipients of such data. Your may also at any time request TU Dresden to rectify or erase your personal data or to restrict processing.
You can at any time contact TU Dresden's Data Protection Officer (see above) and, in the case of a complaint pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, the responsible supervisory authority for data protection. The responsible supervisory authority is:
