[Romance Studies] Call for applications for the mobiklasse.de 2026/27 scholarship (application deadline: 31.03.26)

Dear students,

As a former student of this department and current lecturer in the mobiklasse.de program, I would like to draw your attention to the current call for applications for the 2026/27 school year.

The mobiklasse.de program is run by the Franco-German Youth Office (DFJW) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut and the Federation of Franco-German Houses. The aim is to promote the German language and culture in French schools and to provide information about Franco-German mobility programs.

For the period September 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027, 12 scholarships will be awarded in France (including in Aix-en-Provence, Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Nantes, Paris, Toulouse).

Job profile

The Lektor:innen carry out creative and age-appropriate language animations at elementary school, secondary schools and vocational institutions - with the aim of inspiring pupils for German and for stays abroad.
At selected locations (DAAD assignment locations), teaching assistance is also provided at a university in the field of German as a foreign language.

Framework conditions

• Monthly scholarship: €1,300 (net)
• Additional budget for travel, materials, etc.
• Company car (for 6 months)
• Four-day week with one project day for free organization
• Intensive pedagogical preparation and support
• Participation in a preparatory seminar in Cologne (June 2026)

Application requirements (selection)

• University degree (at least a Bachelor's degree)
• Not older than 30 years on 01.09.2026
• Knowledge of French at least B1
• Pedagogical experience (in or out of school)
• Organizational skills, flexibility and enthusiasm

Application deadline is March 31, 2026, the selection interviews will take place online on April 16 and 17, 2026.

The program is particularly interesting for students with a teaching background or in the field of German as a foreign language, but is also expressly aimed at graduates of other departments with an interest in education and intercultural motivation.
