Scholarship program for France PEF 2025 (application deadline: 10 March)

The French Embassy in Berlin is once again offering the PEF (Programme d'études en France) scholarship program for France (in cooperation with the DAAD).

It enables students from Romance studies or other degree programs in the humanities and social sciences with a connection to France to begin and complete their second Bachelor's year with an initial five-month study visit to one of the four French universities (Lille, Amiens, Nantes, Toulouse). In addition to the subjects studied, the study visit includes language tandems between German and French students, a cultural program and initial insights into professional fields of work.The semester is funded with a scholarship of €450 per month. In addition, the PEF offers educational and logistical support for students (in particular for a place to live).

The aim of the scholarship is to enable mobility as a first experience abroad before an Erasmus stay and thus also to promote language acquisition.

Applications can be submitted via the DAAD portal from December 9th. Application deadline: March 10, 2025.
