Ralph Ludwig presented the anthology Irrschweifen und Lachen (Litradukt, Trier 2024, translated from French; original: L'errance et le rire, Gallimard 2022), which he edited.
The volume brings together fictional and non-fictional texts by 15 renowned authors from the Francophone Caribbean and thus provides an insight into current trends in Antillean literature.
Ralph Ludwig, Professor of Romance Studies at the University of Halle until 2023, is one of the best experts on Caribbean culture and literature in the German-speaking world.
