PD Dr. Andrea Gremels (Viadrina): 'Dissident' Surrealism in Paris between languages and cultures: From the manifesto "Un cadavre" and the competition between cultural journals
The lecture will shed light on a hitherto lesser-known side of surrealism: The exchange relationships between surrealist artists and writers in Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean will be presented from a cross-media, cross-cultural and cross-regional perspective.
As part of the lecture Les années folles: France in the twenties by Bettina Lindorfer.
