International Reading Night - January 2021

Dear students,

the ERASMUS Office/Stabsstelle Internationales and the tutors of the Exchange Sessions/Chair of English Literature are organising an international reading night for January. Grab your remaining Christmas sweets, a cup of hot chocolate and make yourselves comfortable!
With poems, short stories and other literary texts we will travel around the globe together. On 14 Jan. 2021, from 6.00 to 8.00 p.m., we will meet online via BigBlueButton.

You are invited to read something to all of us or just join and listen! We will guide you through the readings, quizzes and polls, and are looking forward to an evening of intercultural literary exchange! You can follow the presented texts in German and English, thanks to the programme provided for you during the evening. In addition, every winner will get a little surprise!

Robert Louis Stevenson, Leo Tolstoy, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Christian Morgenstern, Edgar Allan Poe, Sonia Sanchez or even a text of your own: the contributions can be presented in any language. Choose your favourite text, no matter whether short story, haiku, rap, fairy tale, fable or other. Your contribution should not exceed 5-7 minutes.
