Dresden Science Night - June 20, 2025
The 22nd Dresden Science Night will take place on June 20, 2025 from 17:00 to 00:00. On this day, TU Dresden will open its doors to the public. Visitors will be able to experience science and technology, research and innovation, art and culture up close in a variety of lectures, experiments, guided tours, exhibitions and films.
The Institute of Slavic Studies is also taking part this year!
Otfried Preußler's famous novel "Krabat" (1971) can now be experienced in Sorbian for the first time! The accomplished author and translator Lubina Hajduk-Veljković will give a short reading of the book "Krabat a čorny mišter" and the secrets of the black mill. The literary scholar Dr. Willi W. Barthold will then give a short lecture, allowing all those interested to delve even deeper into the world of the legendary Lusatian magician's pupil.
