Information on Teaching
The primary goal of our teaching lies in giving our students not only expertise, but also practical competence. With our courses we therefore aim to give room for "active learning". Through "active learning" students do not only gain expertise in the field, but, grounded on their active participation, they also gain social and personal competencies as well as transdisciplinary methodological skills. These key qualifications can not be taught by the classical "lecture" format course.
The chair's research is directed towards the economical-ecological Optimization (03) in organisations. This is where the three main research areas derive from: environmental performance, value-based management and sustainable management
