Doctoral student from Kharkiv presents her research project
PhD Mariia Foshchiy is an employee of the Chair of Management at the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute"(more about the research profile) and is currently a guest at IHI Zittau as part of an Erasmus+ mobility from June 9 to July 5.
In her lecture, she presented the topic of her dissertation:
"Strategizing business development in a changing environment"
(Strategies for business development in a changing environment). She addressed the special situation of companies in her home region, which are faced with extreme and rapidly changing challenges, which is why Foschchij developed a flexible, situation-based management model that was subsequently discussed by students and lecturers.
The invitation of Mariia Foschchij goes back to the initiative of Prof. Oksana Makovoz, who also teaches Business Administration and Economics at the TU Kharkiv and has also been a member of the IHI Zittau team since the Russian invasion.
The cooperation between IHI Zittau and TU Kharkiv is to be gradually intensified towards joint study programs.
