Hi! The Lusatia Network is showcasing itself at the Brüderstraße Gallery in Görlitz
What will Lusatia look like tomorrow? What ideas, innovations, and research projects are already shaping the development of our region today?
With the exhibition “Hi!Lusatia – Future Prospects for Lusatia,” the Galerie Brüderstraße in Görlitz’s historical city center (Brüderstr. 9) becomes a showcase for a region in transition. More than a dozen partners from science, education, and regional development—including, of course, TUD | IHI Zittau—are working together to highlight how Lusatia is evolving into an internationally networked research and innovation region.
The exhibition showcases current research projects, future initiatives, and career prospects in science and innovation. At the same time, it highlights how new ideas, international collaborations, and people from all over the world are enriching the region and actively shaping its structural transformation.
What new training, study, and career paths are emerging as a result of research institutions and innovative companies establishing themselves in the region? Interactive exhibits, digital content, and personal stories from the people behind the projects make the topics understandable and tangible, while also revealing surprising perspectives on the region from researchers around the world.
Located in the heart of Görlitz’s Old Town—between Obermarkt and Untermarkt—the exhibition is aimed equally at residents of the region and visitors from Germany and abroad.
Accompanying the exhibition, lectures, discussion forums, and other events invite visitors to engage in conversation with researchers and regional development stakeholders.
Opening hours: From June22 to October 31, 2026, the gallery is open regularly on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
The exhibition is a joint project of the members of Hi!Lusatia e.V. in cooperation with the Saxon Agency for Structural Development and Görlitzer KulturService GmbH. The project is supported by Sparkasse Oberlausitz-Niederschlesien.
