TU Dresden and Ukraine: Bridges that connect (2023)
Table of contents
Project Description
Due to the ongoing Russian war of aggression, educational institutions, especially in eastern Ukraine, are still forced to maintain their working methods in digital form in the university year 2023. Already in the first project phase, the TU Dresden has shown comprehensive commitment in this regard. The project components submitted for 2023 are follow-up measures that largely result from successful measures implemented in the first implementation phase in 2022 (TUD Builds Bridges).
Program Goals
- Digital courses for students have been expanded, are offered, and are used by students at the Ukrainian partner university.
- Teachers from the Ukrainian partner universities, in particular refugees, are integrated into the courses.
- The competencies for further digitization of the participating German and Ukrainian universities and for the professionalization of digital teaching are available and can be used for the development of further (joint) digital study programs.
Project Goals
- Successful continuation of studies at the Ukrainian partner institutions as well as integration of scientists in teaching activities at TU Dresden.
- Establishment of new or sustainable deepening of existing partnership relations in research, teaching and transfer. To this end, successfully implemented measures from 2022 will be continued and consolidated.
- Examination of the possibilities of intensified university cooperation, e.g. in the form of a double degree program with the master's program "International Management" of the IHI Zittau and the TU Charkiv.
- Language qualification of the students of the partner university in the sense of possible future joint study programs.
