Brief Description
The project Vi-Teaching aims to find ways to support self-regulated and collaborative learning in video-based learning scenarios. With a special focus on blended learning we are investigating tailored technical solutions that are applicable in flipped classroom and ePortfolio scenarios. By adopting concepts from social media and hypervideo we want to develop specialized video learning environments. These prototypes are going to be applied and tested in the examplified courses. The results will be used as a mining ground to identify pedagogical patterns as well as interaction design patterns. Finally we are going to organize a workshop for university teachers where we are transfering practical knowledge about the implementation of video-driven flipped classroom courses and the video usage in ePortfolios.
The project is part of joint project (MigraFlipScale) lead by the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau.
