My name is Nikola Gottlieberová and I work as a research assistant to support the organization of this year's ACC Forum and Autumn Schools. Having grown up in the Czech part of the border triangle (Germany, Czechia, Poland), I am excited to be part of this international project that brings together students and scholars from these countries.
After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Languages at HSZG in Görlitz, I started studying Business Ethics and Responsible Management at IHI Zittau.
I am interested in modern architecture and like to dance salsa in my free time.
My name is Tina Werchan and since October 2023, I have been a student assistant at the Chair of Business Administration, especially Environmental Management. Thereby, I support the working group Biodiversity in the realization of projects that increase and maintain biodiversity on the campus of TU Dresden. I also assist in the question of how to define an economic value for ecological services.
During my training as a pediatric nurse, I increasingly desired to look beyond the workings of the human body. I wanted to explore the workings of the living planet and advocate for sustainability, which led me to my bachelor studies in molecular biology and biotechnology at TU Dresden. I am very happy that I now have the opportunity to actively implement sustainability projects. It gives me great pleasure to put theoretical knowledge into practice and to see the results.
Privately, I am also involved in the TU Environmental Initiative (tuuwi) for the implementation of sustainability projects and in student education work. In addition, I am a member of the university group Kritische Medizin Dresden (kritMed*), where we advocate for medical policy issues and conduct educational and public relations work. In between, I am very drawn to nature, where I am fascinated by large and small wonders of botany and zoology.
