My name is Stella-Maria Yerokhin and I have been working at the Chair of Business Administration, esp. Environmental Management since January 2022. Since then, my field of activity at the Chair was the cooperation in the project "Saxon Network for Biodiversity Friendly Textiles", which was awarded the eku-Zukunftpreis and aims to integrate biodiversity management in small and medium-sized enterprises in the textile industry. Within this framework, I participated in the preparation and implementation of surveys and their evaluation, the preparation, planning, and implementation of panel discussions, and provided the participating companies with expert knowledge regarding biodiversity issues. In addition, I supported the Working Group Biodiversity in the realization of projects.
From April 2023, I support the DBU project "Sustainability Assessment at Universities", which aims to anchor sustainability criteria of five different fields of action in German universities by means of an indicator catalog. This standardization should make a measurable and continuous improvement process within the universities.
During my attendance of the elective modules in the Bachelor of Business Administration at TU Dresden, my interest in environmental management and sustainability reporting, especially regarding CSR issues, grew continuously. Therefore, I focused on these topics and increasingly dealt with current issues in the energy industry, stakeholder and value chain management as well as corporate social responsibility. I placed a second focus on Operations and Logistics Management.
In my master's studies at TU Dresden, I now focus exclusively on environmental management with an emphasis on biodiversity and sustainability reporting, and am grateful for every challenge that allows me to grow and expand my knowledge.
Privately, I enjoy any kind of creative work very much and I burn to constantly acquire new skills. I am very communicative, organized, a little (too) perfectionist, and love long game nights with friends. Another passion of mine is standard and Latin dancing, which I teach on the side.
