Call for applications - Scholarships for students in the final phase to be awarded

The Association of Friends and Sponsors of TUD (GFF) is once again offering 5 scholarships for students or doctoral students of the TU Dresden who are writing their final thesis in the summer semester 2026 (01.04.2026-30.09.2026).
Only students of TU Dresden who can prove that they are in the final phase of their studies in the summer semester 2026 are eligible to apply. This is based on the period set by the respective Examination Offices for the preparation of the written thesis (Bachelor's/Diploma/Master's/State Examination/PhD).

The scholarship comprises 3 months of funding with a monthly amount of 300 euros for students and 500 euros for doctoral candidates. The start of the scholarship can be determined individually in the period 01.04.2026-30.09.2026.

The application should include the following documents

• Application form
• Letter of motivation
• Curriculum vitae
• Current certificate of enrolment
• Transcript of records
• Confirmed registration of the thesis with deadlines
• Letter of recommendation from the supervising university lecturer

Applications are possible until 30.04.2026, preferably by e-mail to gff@mailbox.tu-dresden.de. Incomplete applications cannot be considered.
