As “Season of Excellence – Dresden Summer Schools” goes for the second round, we are calling for your participation by getting in touch with us, and providing the key data of the school you are now planning for 2024.

“Season of Excellence” is a joint-initiative between the team Strategy and Internationalization of the TUD International Office and Head office of DRESDEN-concept. It aims to strengthen the visibility and impact of the numerous summer schools taking place in Dresden every year – organized by dedicated members of TU Dresden and partner institutions in the DRESDEN-concept research alliance –, and therefor to highlight the huge potential and vividness of Dresden as an excellent science hub.

With 44 depicted schools last year, the first launch of the campaign was a success. This year we are determined to continue creating more visibility as well as joint identity to the Dresden summer schools. For this, we need your support regarding data collecting and cross-promotion.

Prerequisite for the call: Your school will take place in Dresden in 2024, organized by the TUD and/or any other partners within the DRESDEN-Concept research alliance. We prefer schools open to international participants from Germany and abroad.

Register and send us the main details of your school by 31.03.2024 via to get your summer school listed on the central campaign website as early as possible! If you find yourself at the very first stage of planning currently, you are welcome to contact our project team at a later time. We will be continuously updating the website with new offers.
