Frontiers Planet Price—Questions and Answers

Given that the Global North—especially Europe—has just experienced a summer of record-breaking heat, we can no longer justify waiting any longer: The need for immediate action to ensure we can live safely within the limits of our planet is now undeniable.

As part of a global network committed to healthy living on a healthy planet, the “Frontiers Planet Prize” makes an important contribution. The prize mobilizes and connects stakeholders working on scientific solutions to the challenges posed by planetary boundaries. In the coming weeks, the program will include webinars and support for submitting nominations, among other activities.

In January 2027, the “International Champions” of the 4th edition will be announced at the awards ceremony in Davos as part of the “Frontiers Science House.” The nominations currently being submitted could be among the champions who take the global stage at the 5th edition of the prize.

To make the 5th edition of the “Frontiers Planet Prize” the most impactful yet, webinars are being offered. These webinars provide an introduction to the nomination process and selection criteria, as well as an opportunity to clarify any questions:
