Services
The School of Engineering Sciences sees itself as a service unit that optimises administrative procedures and promotes cooperation, but also makes specialisation and professionalisation possible. Researchers/Scientists, students, and staff in the faculties are supported so that they can concentrate fully on their core research and teaching activities. Together, the school works on the goal of simplifying administrative procedures, optimising processes and networking engineering excellence.

Administration in the School of Engineering Sciences
With the introduction of Schools at the Technische Universität Dresden, administration structures for each School were created. The administration in the School of Engineering Sciences sees itself as a service team and supports the faculties in the following activities:
- Facilitation of joint interfaculty research projects
- Utilization of synergies in the areas of academic counseling and examination matters (student services)
- Human resources issues
- Topics related to budgets, cost and activity accounting, controlling and purchases
- Coordination of public relations
- Coordination of international activities
- IT support
