The ERC Starting (StG), Consolidator (CoG) and Advanced Grant (AdG) programs of the European Research Council are among the most prestigious funding calls in Europe. Open to individual applicants from all scientific disciplines, they provide generous support for researchers at different career levels (after completed doctorate) to perform ground-breaking research for up to five years. In addition, ERC Synergy Grants allow for collaborative research on highest level by a group of up to four principal investigators.
