Springschool "Clinicum Digitale", March 18 to 27, 2024
This year, the Clinicum Digitale is once again inviting students from the fields of medicine, computer science, mathematics, economics and engineering to take an in-depth look at the topic of digital medicine. During the two weeks of attendance from March 18 to 27, 2024 you will gain insights into existing technologies, learn new skills from the other disciplines in workshops and discover future fields of research. For medical professionals, the programme includes programming, artificial intelligence and robotics. Non-medical professionals can gain an insight into emergency medicine, take a trip to the operating theatre or visit a start-up. There will also be numerous opportunities to network and exchange ideas outside of the courses and lectures.
No prior knowledge of the individual (non-specialist) subject areas is required. To compensate for this, this year there will be three online PREP courses before the actual Springschool, which will teach you the most important basics in a flipped classroom format.
The aim of the two intensive weeks is to encourage you to implement ideas on existing problems in medicine in your own multi-professional projects. In interdisciplinary study groups, you will then have the opportunity to implement your own project in a research area of your choice in the summer semester 2024. The results will then be presented at a student congress.
