Congratulations on Earning a Ph.D.: Christian Jäschke Defends His Dissertation with a “summa cum laude”
On July 1, 2026, Christian Jäschke successfully defended his dissertation titled “Methods for Modeling, Calculating, and Analyzing Resonance Effects in High-Current Transformers.” The doctoral committee of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at TUD Dresden University of Technology awarded the thesis the highest grade, summa cum laude.
The thesis focuses on resonance effects that can occur in high-current transformers and significantly influence their behavior. In it, Christian Jäschke develops methods to model, calculate, and systematically analyze these effects. The results contribute to a better understanding of the underlying physical mechanisms and lay the groundwork for the design and evaluation of these devices.
