Power & Energy Student Summit
The IEEE Power & Energy Student Summit 2026 took place in Karlsruhe from October 21 to October 23. At the conference for students and young researchers, participants had the opportunity to present their work as papers or posters, discuss current research topics, and network.
TU Dresden and the IEEH were represented by Prof. Martin Wolter, Josephine Bernsee (et al., paper: “Quantification of the Reactive Power Capability of Overbuilt Hybrid Power Plants for Participation in the Reactive Power Market”), and Malte Wischer (et al., poster: “Implementation of a flexible home energy management system and integration into a grid calculation environment”). The poster presentation was awarded the Best Poster Award.
