SERVING - Service-Plattform-Verteilnetze zum integralen Lastmanagement
Titel (Englisch)
Service-platform-transmission grid for an integral load management
Kurzbeschreibung (Deutsch)

Kurzbeschreibung (Englisch)
The aim of the joint research project SERVING is an intelligent operation of the transmission grid with the help of a Service-Platform. Therefore the infrastructure of a grid will be operated in an optimal way in due consideration of decentralized Renewable Energy Facilities and the use of shiftable load. Thus shows the availability of the highest flexible potential of consumers for the energy service provider. The Service-Platform is not only responsible for the communication, it also accomplishes a state-estimation of the transmission grid, takes various requirements of the market into consideration and organizes the loadshift with the help of a new load-allocation when there are imminent problems of bottlenecks within the grid or within Power Quality.
The results and innovations of SERVING are:
•the adaption of consumption and production in dependence of the grid condition
•best possible integration of Renewable Energy Facilities and therefore local production
•Provision of the communication infrastructure for suppliers and final consumers based on modern IT-concepts and technology
•Standardized interfaces and protocols for an extensive and uniform load management
•Flexible purchase of electricity of the suppliers as requirement for innovative products and
•Reduced grid extension through better utilization of the transmssion grid
The development of the Service-Platform-transmission Grid is a sustainable step within the transfer of the transmission grid into a smart grid and delivers an overall solution for the requirements of future grids.
