The courses offered at the Chair of Automation Engineering are dedicated to introductory and in-depth scientific topics concerning the design of automation functions in technical systems and cover the following topics: Introduction to Automation Engineering, Discrete Event Systems and Control, Automation Technologies Systems Design, Teleautomation - Internet in Automation, Modeling and Simulation, Control of Robotic Systems (manipulators, mobile robots), Mechatronic Systems, Attitude and Orbit Control of Space Vehicles.

In addition to the core tasks in the education of the students of the automation and control engineering course of study (electrical engineering course of study), the chair carries out teaching export in the following areas: Interdisciplinary Diploma Program in Mechatronics (Faculties of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Transportation Sciences), Diploma Program in Aerospace Engineering (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering), Interdepartmental Diploma Program in Information Systems Engineering (Faculties of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Computer Science), Diploma Program in Industrial Engineering (Faculty of Economics) and for the Faculty of Education.
