Studying at the Chair of Process Control Systems
The Chair of Process Control Systems and the Process Systems Engineering Group offers basic contents of the subject area for the undergraduate and graduate studies. The current research influences the topics of the theses for students.
Teaching at the Chair of Process Control Systems
The teaching of the Chair of Process Control Systems qualifies the student to conceptualize, design and implement (semi-)autonomous process control systems for dynamic systems. The students know the requirements for a control system, they are able to choose the components and the architecture to guarantee the demanded safety and reliability and they can estimate the effort for the configuration and parameterization of a process control system.
The target group are the students of the study programs
Process Engineering and Natural Materials Technology
Electrical Engineering
Information Systems Engineering
Renewable Energy Systems
Mechatronics.
