The Chair for Communications Theory applies modern mathematical and engineering methods to research future communications systems and networks.

Research and Publications Achievements
Since 2008, together with 24 industrial, 22 academic and 13 institutional partners, the Chair for Communications Theory finished a number of interesting and timely research projects.
In particular the technical and administrative coordination of the EU FP7 project STREP SAPHYRE from 2010-2013 with 11 partners and excellent output in terms of research publications as well as prototypes is worth mentioning.
Within the DFG collaborative research cluster HAEC two sub projects in the architecture cluster are running.
Within the excellence cluster cfAED the Chair for Communications Theory contributes with PI Jorswieck in the resilience path. From 2012-2015 he was co-path leader.
The project database of the DFG shows the finished and current projects.
