Novel loudspeaker technology presented & winning 1st prize in the EuroEAP society Challenge

The new and revolutionary loudspeaker technology "MODES 3000" (Multimodal omnidirectional dielectric elastomer Speaker) based on artificial elastomer muscles was revealed at the annual EuroEAP conference in Italy.

Apart from an impressive reproduction quality, the new technology can be used to produce loudspeakers that are significantly lighter, more efficient and have omnidirectional radiation compared to conventional electrodynamic drivers. Moreover, they do not require magnetic and ferroelectric materials and are inexpensive to manufacture.

With the presented demonstrator and  video contribution our team around Petko Bakardjiev has again won the first place in the EuroEAP society Challenge.
