Studying at the Institute of Semiconductors and Microsystems
The Institute of Semiconductors and Microsystems conducts lectures, practices and seminars for the purposes of academical training especially in the fields of microelectronics, microsystem technologies and technical optics.
Teaching
The Institute of Semiconductors and Microsystems is involved in teachings for the majors of electrical engineering, mechatronics and nanoelectronic systems. One focus is on imparting the theoretical and practical knowledge of the technical procedures of microelectronics, microsystem technologies, technical optics as well as the necessary materials and components.
In the major of „Elektrotechnik“ the Institute of Semiconductors and Microsystems is involved in:
- the basic studies
and in the study fields
- „Mikroelektronik“
- „Gertäte- und Mikro- und Medizintechnik“
in the compulsory subjects as well as the elective subjects. Prof. Richter ist he head of study fields fort he studies of „Mikroelektronik“.
For the major of „Mechatronik“ the Institute of Semiconductors and Microsystems (Prof. Marschner) is the counterpart for the elective subject „Mikromechatronik“ and in charge of the course
- „Mikro-Elektro-Mechanische Systeme“.
In the major of „Regenerative Energiesysteme“ the institute offers two elective subjects.
The special knowledge of our institute is also imparted in the master course of „Nanoelectronic Systems“. Prof. Mikolajick of the NamLab is the dean of studies for this major.
